We are making the change, we are turning the corner..
Yes, the feel better feeling..
Things are changing,
sluggish ideas are fleeing.
We are making the change..
We are turning a new corner..
We have been stuck to long..
We have been amazed at what is going on.
We have said OMG what is happening?
But NOW we are making the change.
We are waking up and taking the bull by the horns.
Money has been down, spending has been up..
Many have been made feel they need to cower like a whipped pup.
Made feel they need to watch their life evaporate.
Made feel they are less than a reprobate..
Made feel the only worthy are a group of select elite.
BUT, things are a changing, we are rounding the corner..
The peaceful majority are speaking,
The caring are voting.
The laws are changing while the violent vocal rage.
Common sense is once again taking control of our land.
Once again, We the People are getting the upper hand.
We are turning the corner .. things are changing..
It is our land..
It is our work, blood and tears that has made it great.
It is our money and the future of our children.
We have had enough, we have watched the mess.
We are standing up, we will do nothing less.
It has been a long bumpy scary ride, BUT ..
Thank God we are turning the corner.
We are making the change.. YES
We are turning the corner..
Tax or Unconstitutional?

This week the DOJ (Dept of Justice) has come out and stated the health-care mandate (the one that states everyone must have insurance) is a tax. This appears to be their stance because that is the only way to apply any constitutionality to the mandate. Interestingly enough the President is stating it is not a tax in a recent New York Times article.
“For us to say that you’ve got to take a responsibility to get health insurance is absolutely not a tax increase,” the president said last September, in a spirited exchange with George Stephanopoulos on the ABC News program “This Week.”
The presidents response feeds into all the legislation being presented by this administration. They feel it is their right to mandate behavior and the long lived American right to make our own decisions is offensive to this progressive movement.
This same mentality is evident in the Cap and Trade legislation, the recently passed fiscal reform bill as well as the many spending bills that have hit congress in this administration and even the Bush administration.
Angelo M. Codevilla writes a great article on the widening class system developing in America.
Never has there been so little diversity within America’s upper crust. Always, in America as elsewhere, some people have been wealthier and more powerful than others. But until our own time America’s upper crust was a mixture of people who had gained prominence in a variety of ways, who drew their money and status from different sources and were not predictably of one mind on any given matter. The Boston Brahmins, the New York financiers, the land barons of California, Texas, and Florida, the industrialists of Pittsburgh, the Southern aristocracy, and the hardscrabble politicians who made it big in Chicago or Memphis had little contact with one another. Few had much contact with government, and “bureaucrat” was a dirty word for all. So was “social engineering.” Nor had the schools and universities that formed yesterday’s upper crust imposed a single orthodoxy about the origins of man, about American history, and about how America should be governed. All that has changed.
While the American people truly embrace diversity those in power do their best to keep us fighting amongst each other so that they can solidify their kingship.

On this most patriotic of American holidays I wish to share some encouragement for traditionalists and constitutionalists.
I just watched David Barton of Wallbuilders and he shared some wonderful news:
- There are 4 prayer meetings held by members of congress
- There is a Christian Caucus that prays before every session of congress
- 88% of the millennial generation believe in the constitution
Remember there are actually constitutionalists than progressives we have just been quieter. When all else fails STAND!
